About the Role
A family is seeking a nurturing and confident nanny to care for their 5-month-old baby boy, with a start date in January 2025 for part-time work, transitioning to full-time by March 2025. The schedule will be 20-25 hours per week from January to February and 40-50 hours per week thereafter, with a minimum of 40 guaranteed hours. The compensation is $25-$30/hour and different rate on a weekend if working. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation, paid federal holidays, paid sick leave, a monthly MetroCard, a Christmas bonus, and performance reviews every six months, with the potential for a raise after one year based on performance. The responsibilities include primary care for the baby, ensuring his safety and developmental milestones, light housekeeping related to the child, occasional cooking, and the ability to travel with the family once a quarter, with occasional overnight care as needed. The family desires someone who can respect their preferences while providing expert guidance, and who can help keep the home organized and running smoothly. Requirements
