About the Role
A family in Midtown, Manhattan, is seeking a part-time live-out nanny for their energetic 3-year-old son, starting as soon as possible. The schedule includes Monday and Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2 PM to 5 PM, with additional hours available for date nights or school events, plus a full day from 9 AM to 5 PM when school is not in session, if the nanny is available. The salary ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, along with a $15 daily lunch allowance and a monthly metro card. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience, CPR certification, and be COVID and flu vaccinated. Fluency in English is required, and the preferred age range for applicants is 30 to 50, although gender and nationality are open for the right person. Responsibilities will include picking up the child from preschool, ensuring he attends activities such as playdates and swimming lessons, preparing healthy meals and snacks, assisting with laundry, keeping the stroller tidy, encouraging toy cleanup, and supporting potty training routines. The family is looking for someone patient, kind, and enthusiastic about engaging in outdoor activities, with a creative approach to keeping their son entertained.
